WOW (Works from Off the Wall artists ) showcases the works of three stand-out artists from Off the Wall , a program sponsored by 'Belle' magazine at Art Melbourne 07 and dedicated to the promotion of emerging artists and their work.

The selected artists showing are Jamie Boys, Damian Dillon and Sean O'Keeffe.

The seemingly child-like innocence of Jamie Boys's spare, graphic painting style masks the acerbic social comment within as they quirkily question familiar, day to day experiences like the barbecue and suburban life.

Sean O'Keeffe also questions notions of reality and of social structure. He is the self-appointed real world 'artist-in-residence' for the computer-based cyber world 'Second Life'. This is a virtual place where on-line visitors create representations of themselves known as avatars. He observes and documents in fine art materials the daily life and evolution of this digital community.

Photographer, Damian Dillon also explores relationships between illusion and reality in his 'Airport' series. He courts difficulty in both image and process; shooting at low angles with a tilt-shift camera and running the gauntlet of access to areas of stringent security. His subjects are viewed obliquely, detail is often difficult to see; provoking closer examination of what is crossed out, or occluded. The works are intentionally intentionally scored with line annotations with sinister connotations of surveillance and voyeurism. Damian Dillon's works which combine shooting on film, scanning, Photoshop manipulation and collage elements exploit the play between the raw intuitive qualities and sense of authorship of film; often collecting old film, sometimes sponge printing, and the 'clean' quality of digital.
