Glen Henderson Artist Biography
Sculptor, photographer and installation artist
Lives and works in Queensland.
With a Master of Fine Arts from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Glen Henderson is an artist, designer and curator working across a variety of mediums including sculpture, photography and installation.
Glen Henderson has exhibited extensively since the mid 1990’s and has shown work at the Queensland Centre for Photography, the Powerhouse Museum in Brisbane and as part of the 2009 Arc Biennial of Art. Her work can be found in numerous public and private collections including: the BHP Australia collection, Stanthorpe Regional Gallery collection, Townsville Regional Gallery collection, University of Southern Queensland collection and the collection fo the University Art Museum at The University of Queensland.
In 2006 Glen Henderson was the winner of The Design Institute of Australia’s Queensland Design Awards in the category for Public Art Design Excellence. She has previously been commissioned to create public art works for Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Brain Institute at The University of Queensland.
Glen is represented by Fuxin Contemporary Art Gallery in Shanghai and New York.
