Art is my passion and my art has been a lifetime journey. I have been painting and drawing since the age of 16, when I went to Art School . I had a formal and traditional art education which suited the kind of person I was then. However, over the years many changes have happened in my approach to my work. My work has become more intuitive; the ideas come and I let them take me where they will. Drawing, in particular, has always been of great importance. Over the years, the use colour has been a strong element of my work. Yet there have been times when the need to use only black and white takes over. While black and white have been the dominant colours in my more recent work I am now exploring colour in entirely different ways and styles than before.
